CHILL THE WAVE
Compatibility
Supfix is compatible with all board types, including hard boards. The specially designed chair is easy to mount and dismount – making it a nice addition to your stay on the beach. The installation of Supfix bases and chairs is particularly simple and can be completed within minutes, even on the water. The robust fiberglass rods reliably balance weight differences and wave movements, ensuring a stable and safe experience.
Flexibility
Supfix allows users to connect Stand up Paddleboards (SUP) in various ways, enabling flexible use cases – from yoga classes to family outing. We like to describe the experience as “hiking on water.” With Supfix, you can enjoy hours-long trips on the water, whether as a catamaran, family board, or single board. The goal is to enjoy nature in a relaxed way, regardless of the season. Thanks to Supfix’s stability and the mounted chairs, trips are possible even in cooler weather. Just dress warmly, wait for the Sun, and you’re good to go!
Coming soon: Supfix Twinspin – the remote controlled electric motor for your board!
Our patent-pending innovation, the Supfix base system, consists of a chair, a front base, and a rear base, each containing a fiberglass rod.
- Ease of Use: Intuitive handling and quick assembly
- Versatility: Compatible with various board types
- Stability: Secure hold and durable construction – Made in Germany
But the best thing about it: The Supfix system is designed to accommodate future expansions to your Stand up Paddleboard (SUP)!

Supfix Twinspin electric motor
We tried many variants, with pin-controlled central motors, 180° controls, higher-power motors and lower-power devices, single motors, or dual motors, on the front, center, and back ends of the SUP. After plentiful tests and tryouts with friends and partners, our engineers are confident that this is the best solution for your SUP. Especially if we take into consideration that you want to chill the wave; comfortably seated on a stable chair, in contrast to the usually shaky experience of standing up or kneeling on the SUP. Mounting the Supfix base and attaching the chair
- Fast: The entire setup can be completed in just a few steps.
- Intuitive: All components are user-friendly and easy to assemble. The magnetic click system, developed in-house, ensures effortless handling.
- Flexible and secure: The connection is highly stable, while silicone strips under the base protect the board. The chair sits firmly on the base but can be folded back or removed in seconds.
Installing the Supfix Base:
- The front and rear Supfix bases are securely mounted onto the board using a ratcheted strap system.
- The Supfix storage bag is effortlessly attached between the bases under the seat via Velcro.
- The Supfix motor battery, currently in the prototype phase, will also be placed between the bases – just like the storage bag. More details on Kickstarter [LINK].
Connecting boards and assembling a Catamaran
- Extending and securing the fiberglass rods:
- The fiberglass rods are pulled out from both, the front and rear bases, up to the red marking.
- The lever is switched from Unlock to Lock, then the rod is pulled until it audibly clicks into place.
- The fiberglass rods are locked with a lever (Open/Close) and further secured.
- Connecting and securing the second board:
- A second board is also prepared with Supfix bases.
- The rods are inserted into the opposite base of the second board, again up to the red marking.
- The connection is locked by switching the lever from Unlock to Lock and pulling the rod until it clicks into place.
The catamaran made of two standard SUP boards is now ready for use.
Expansion and extensions
This process can be repeated multiple times to create trimarans, entire SUP bridges, or even circular formations.
Features

Universal Compatibility
The Supfix base is compatible with both hard and inflatable boards. The strap is threaded through a guide in the base and tightened using a ratchet mechanism. Currently, we support all standard board widths ranging from 73 – 86 cm. If a board has a broader width, we will prepare an individual offer for a longer strap.

Versatility
Each Supfix base includes an extendable fiberglass rod that connects to the base of an adjacent board. The locking mechanism consists of two levers that switch from “Unlock” to “Lock.” Multiple boards can be connected to even form a ponton bridge or a circle on the water.

Comfort and Safety
The Supfix base system comes with one chair. Two Supfix systems fit on one board, and multiple boards can be linked to create tandem, catamaran, trimaran, or even larger configurations. A dedicated storage bag fits neatly under the chair. Supfix is developing a new motor system with a battery pack that fits seamlessly between the two bases.

Coming soon to Kickstarter: Supfix Twinspin motor system
The Twinspin propulsion system is being built with two independent motors, each directly mounted to a battery. The battery packs are designed to be securely positioned under the seat and fixed between the two Supfix bases. The propulsion units will be attached to custom-designed fins with pre-drilled mounting holes. A compatible fin set is going to be included in the package.
For mounting on stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), we offer the three most common fin types.
Each motor is individually controlled via a joystick, allowing for precise steering and full 360-degree rotation on the spot.
- Top speed: ~8–10 km/h (~5–6 mph, depending on board shape and size).
- Optimal cruising speed: 5 km/h (~4mph), ensuring maximum battery efficiency.
A dedicated energy management mode (cruise mode) is built to optimize battery life:
- 60 Ah battery: 10–12 hours runtime
- 40 Ah battery: 6–8 hours runtime
- 20 Ah battery: 2–4 hours runtime
The modules of the motor system are planned to be:
- Supfix One E
- Supfix Twinspin
- Supfix Commander
- Supfix Powercore 20, 40, 60 (batteries of 20, 40, or 60 Ah)
